Mini-Seminar

COLLIES ON THE MOVE
Form Follows Function

Hosted by Northern Wisconsin Collie Club Following Its Specialty Show
Saturday, November 2, 2013

Presented By
Patt Caldwell

"The Collie is a lithe, strong, responsive, active dog, carrying no useless timber, standing naturally straight and firm. The deep, moderately wide chest shows strength, the sloping shoulders and well-bent hocks indicate speed and grace..."

The two first statements of our standard speak specifically to structure and gait. Yet, like beautiful, correct expression, if it is not bred and selected for, the Collie can quickly become a mismatched collection of structural parts that render it less than lithe, responsive, or graceful.

Collies on the Move will cover basic information on structure as it relates to gait specific to our Collie. The presentation will include a PowerPoint presentation, handouts, and discussion.

Please plan to join us after the show and relax with a great meal, a fabulous seminar, and fellowship and conversation in a laid back atmosphere with collie friends old and new!
